If you're a coffee lover and look for the real McCoy this is where you ought to be. Knowledgeable, friendly and no fuss baristas. You get the best locally roasted quality beans with the expertise needed to serve a great cup of coffee. You also get a taste of the many locals who hang in there on a daily basis! If you're passing in Cockermouth, make sure you pay the Moon and six pence a visit!
Needed a caffeine fix. Staff sadly not very welcoming or receptive. Coffee despite being freshly made, tasted like it was cheap instant. Passed commitment but was ignored. Don't waste your time or money here
Been here a few times, coffee is always good. Cakes are delicious. But customer service has been poor each time. Each conversation with staff so far has been very unwelcoming and in one case actively rude. I can't speak for all the staff as we may have just been unlucky so far to have went when they were having a bad day. But the 2 people in the shop today managed to take our order, money and bring us our coffee all while not saying a word back to us.
