Went for the lunchtime offer which they do on Friday and Saturday lunchtime. 1,2 or 3 courses. We opted for 3 courses. Tilia is a lovely restaurant to sit in and the offer was great value. All food tasted lovely and great quality. 1 of the beers we wanted wasn’t available but we will definitely try this offer again.
So disappointed with our visit. We’d heard great things but we won’t be returning. Placed in a backroom and pretty much forgotten about. 55 mins for our main to come - Sunday lunch sharer board: one roast potato each, one spoonful of lumpy mash each. Another 50 mins for dessert to come (after we had to get up to find a member of staff as no one had been to check if we were okay/finished/wanted more drinks despite staff gathering nearby, next to the kitchen door for a chat) and when it did, our dirty plates were still on the table. Desserts all came at different times too so we were all eating them separately 👎🏻
Been to Tilia a few times for food and never been disappointed. We are just home from a fabulous 3 course Father’s Day lunch and could not fault a thing. Food is always tasty and freshly home made with lovely presentation and the service is always great. My new favourite place for a Sunday Roast for sure. Thank you for a lovely experience.
