Customer Reviews
Fabulous location for this lovely place, on the Marina side. Plenty of people eating here, I didn't join them, but it looked very nice! My Bowness - Swan Blonde was in good condition at £4.80 a pint. 2/4 handpumps were in action, Cumbrian Ales - Grasmoor Dark Ale being the other. Worth a visit after a stroll around the Marina, it would be rude not to! 🍻
As a vegetarian I am accustomed to eating establishments not really giving a damn about my dietary preferences. Same here unfortunately. From the limited vegetarian options I took a chance on their vegetable tajine with rice and chips. It couldn't have been any more uninspiring if they had tried. I counted about 10 chick peas with a few bits of sliced carrot in a monotone dull tasting sauce. I was disappointed but not surprised. Also the chips were quite dry and not fresh tasting. Very poor indeed and a waste of money. In fairness my friends were happy with their meat based offerings. Not recommended for vegetarians no way...
