Customer Reviews
Morrisons used to be my ‘go to’ supermarket. I’m unsure what has changed in regards to the shops schedule, but in recent weeks it has become more and more unpleasant to go into this store. The aisles are littered with empty boxes, boxes of new stock and carts of rubbish everywhere. Not only does this increase the risk of fire, but is also a nuisance for customers by creating unnecessary obstacles and unsightly visuals. The shelves are also less than 50% stocked becuase most of the stock is littered in abandoned boxes across the floor, whilst staff cause more obstruction in other aisles trying to move stock from the floor to the shelves using ladders, meaning customers have to peer through to browse or wait for staff to move out of the way. Attached are some photos to give some visual context behind this review, these are just a few of what I witnessed. Also, despite the appearance of some minor upgrades to refrigerators, now having doors on them, most of the lights to do not work and all you end up looking at is a dark pain off glass reflection yourself back, so you have to open the doors to see what’s in anyways. My question is. What has caused this significant change in the shopping experience in this store? Have they stopped replenishing stock over nights? Honestly I cannot express how disappointed and annoyed I am after that experience. Thanks for the last 15 years Whitehaven Morrisons team, but it’s time for me to move my shop to a different supermarket. Tesco is much tidier and shelves much fuller, so I will be taking my business there from now on. Despite what seems to be a now chaotic and stressful working environment for the staff working there, they remain the only positive factor of this store, they still offer a friendly and helpful service, in my experience. Thank you to the staff.
Hi, love Morrisons but can you please not throw the crates on the floor it’s so loud I’m 44 and have anxiety but my 77 year old mother has an aneurysm and it’s very alarming and not blaming just you all the supermarkets do it. Can you be more mindful in future please.
One of the worst supermarket cafés in Britain, dirty, understaffed and everything seems to be broken. Couldn't order coffee because the coffee machines were both broken, couldn't order half of the menu because they're out of stock and couldn't sit anywhere because all the tables are full of dirty dishes. Staff are rude and unhelpful but clearly overwhelmed. Witnessed staff member calling a manager over who proceeded to berate her unfairly and refuse to allocate more staff (who looked to be idle) to the café to assist the TWO staff members in the café. Disgusting manager. Main shop shelves are sparse and the ailes are dirty. Checkout is slow and, at the time I visited, had no staff overlooking self checkout so age restricted products could not be bought through self checkout. Disgusting store and staff, will not return. Also found plastic in my food, could've choked to death, which wouldn't have been good.
