Now I've shopped for 4 items, the cashier couldn't calculate the price, it's very simple and it's £1.89, I paid £5 in total, he gives me 50p, I say it's wrong, she gets stubborn, I'm a foreigner and I don't speak English very well, so she buys it without looking and without apologizing and gives me 50p, I said, you're still doing it wrong. Again, she didn't care, I will never go again, they always do the same thing.
I agree with the people on here, prices are fantastic (2x cheaper than tescos) however the cashiers are a bit eeeeehhhhh
Handy town-centre one-stop shop, cheerful, helpful staff. Only criticism is that both tills need to be manned more, it's a very claustrophobic shop to have to queue in and I'm not the only person to have walked out after standing and sweating in line on a warm or busy day.
