I like to shop here, but it's the kind of shop that's got everything you're looking for, or you only manage to get a couple of items you're looking for. That is why I only gave 4*s. However you're always guaranteed to get a bargain. The staff are always helpful, they're usually polite & pleasant. It's a shop that's always worthy of a visit.......
A good shop in all and they have people on the tills but awkward Check out due to no conveyer belts. The worst thing about this shop is the assault on the ears due to the racket comming out of the speakers at way to high a volume to be comfortable. Rather they did not bother as it just makes the shopping experience horrible, just makes you want to get out of the shop.
I love visiting my local poundland store, it has many great offers and the prices are very low. I sometimes buy a couple of Blu-ray films or music cds that are on sale but we mostly call in for a cool flavoured water. Not a huge choice but I prefer the water drinks to the fizzy pop they have on sale. Batteries are another item we generally call in for when our remotes need them. Staff are friendly and very helpful.
