my first time trying five guys, I happened to be visiting from London and randomly stumbled across this branch. I was delighted to see that this is a fully halal branch! no bacon served on site. I didn’t get the name of the kind East Asian girl who served me (if I find the receipt with her name on it, i’ll add it to the review) she was so kind and helpful. the menu/ordering layout is slightly odd, there’s no meal deal option so you have to buy everything separately. I like that you can choose what you want in the burger though. they unfortunately didn’t have the dispensable drinks, so I had to buy a bottle which was the downside to my experience. the burger itself was delicious! but the chips stole the show! cooked to perfection and they tasted SO good. the medium portion was much bigger than I thought so i’d definitely go for a small next time. definitely on the pricey side, they don’t do any discounts but I was so happy to finally have eaten here. great taste and i’d definitely be back again when in Manchester!
This was a great joint for dinner, with a queuing system properly organized for ordering! Red and white colour scheme is neat along with the messages cast on the walls, service was good although staff were a bit impatient. I enjoyed a heavy portion of Cajun Fries and one of their milkshakes; seating area itself could be a tad cleaner I'd say.
The food is great. However, what stands out for me is the absolutely amazing and friendly staff. Ordering and receiving your order is so easy and simple. A massive thank you to Dani whom I have been served by a few times now and each time it is absolute joy to be served by her. Her friendly smile and readiness to help whether it’s your first time at 5 guys or not , is brilliant. She also introduced me to grilled cheeses and I have never looked back. Thank you!
