About
This KFC branch in the Arndale Centre serves halal fried chicken, including wings, popcorn chicken and original recipe pieces. Orders are placed via self-service machines, with some table service. The menu features fillet burgers, chicken strips and gravy. The location in the mall’s food court makes it a lunch spot, though queues can form. Some regulars mention consistent food preparation and positive interactions with staff.
Customer Reviews
Mixed experience today. I went with a friend and we both placed our orders using the self-service machines one after the other, took screenshots of the order numbers, and waited. My order came out within about 5 minutes as expected, but my friend’s was a completely different story. His order appeared on the screen as “being prepared,” just like mine, but it was never called for pickup. After waiting around 15–20 minutes, we had to approach the counter to ask. Initially, the staff couldn’t find the order, even after checking the number. My friend was understandably frustrated and was ready to ask for a refund. We then showed the order confirmation notification and then he insisted on seeing the bank transaction in the app. After confirming the payment, the staff acknowledged the issue and prepared the order again. We eventually received it, but the whole process took over 30 minutes. To be clear, this didn’t affect my own order, which came out fine, but the handling of my friend’s order could definitely have been better. Mistakes happen, but clearer communication and quicker resolution would have improved the experience. Ok lastly, the food was good, As always👌
Jelena was very kind and nice all overall as she visited our table
The order was totally wrong and inedible. Ordered original recipe chicken got a chicken strip, ordered a fillet burger and got a spicy burger, got Pepsi instead of Pepsi Max. Staff didn’t process orders in number order not as if they had to do anything as all orders were at the self checkout. Fries were poor and had loads of scraps, food was lukewarm at most, not fresh bun was dry, ended up throwing the fillet burger as didn’t want spicy one. Awful experience, KFC need to sort their outlets as if they can’t read an order off a screen or serve fresh hot food they may as well shut up shop. Waste of £11! zero ⭐️
