We stayed in this lovely hotel from the 26th to the 28th of November. The location is brilliant about 5 minutes walk from Piccadily railway station and right in the town centre. The Xmas Market is 5 miles minutes away. The reception staff were friendly and very helpful. Our room number 208 was really big, clean and the bathroom and we're lovely. The bed was very comfy. The restaurant was really nice, we are vegetarian and there are loads of options. They did serve us a meat breakfast in error which was a little off putting but the waitress corrected the error. We highly recommend this hotel and will stay here again when we go to mancheter.

We stayed at Heathcote Manor Hotel last night and unfortunately the experience was let down badly by one major issue: the heating.||When we arrived at our room it was absolutely freezing. All radiators were turned off and there was no air conditioning or in-room temperature control. We rang reception and were told the manager had turned the heating off. We were advised it would be switched back on and to wait around 15 minutes – in reality, it took closer to an hour for the room to warm up.||At around 5am we woke up again to find the room freezing cold, with the central heating turned off once more. While using the lift, we overheard other guests also complaining about how cold the hotel was. With temperatures around 0°C outside in Manchester, this was completely unacceptable.||At breakfast we raised the issue again and were told the heating is on a timer and staff have no control over it. I’ve never stayed in a hotel where heating is actively turned off overnight in winter. We were offered a free breakfast, which was appreciated, but we ultimately went home early as we couldn’t even get ready comfortably in the room.||Breakfast itself was nice, but unfortunately the staff came across as unhelpful and quite rude when we needed assistance, dont ask for another coffee 😩, which added to the disappointment.||It’s a real shame because the room itself was lovely and the building is absolutely stunning. With better management of basic comforts like heating – and improved customer service – this could be a great place. As it stands, we’ll be seeking a refund as the stay fell well below expectations.

We recently stayed in the Enviable Double room (room 205) at the Heathcote Hotel. The room was clean, spacious, and well-presented on arrival, which we appreciated. However, several issues impacted the overall comfort of our stay.||One of the radiators in the room couldn’t be controlled, causing the room to become extremely hot with no way to regulate the temperature. This made it difficult to relax or sleep comfortably. The mattress and pillows are also overdue for replacement — the springs were noticeable, and the sleeping surface felt uneven and worn.||Additionally, the room is advertised as being able to sleep up to four people, yet there is no fridge provided. Given the generous size of the room, a fridge could easily be accommodated and would be a practical and expected feature for guests, especially those staying with family or for longer periods.||With improvements to the heating controls, bedding, and amenities, this room could offer a much better experience
