4.5. Excellent food. Knocked off a mark because the sauce for the steak was very watery and a bit bland. Otherwise great food. Everybody else was pleased with theirs. Great prawns on starter
We had pasta and pizza, and calamari as starter. Pasta was okeyish but very small portion. Pizza wasn’t better than what you’d get from a chain pizza shop. We expected Calamari rings but they served us something but calamari. Wouldn’t go again and not recommended as it’s overrated in my opinion and experience.
San Giovanni was perfect, had a great atmosphere and we enjoyed the food thoroughly. We went for the 8oz Rump steaks medium rare and they did not disappoint us at all. Beautifully cooked and the side veg was cooked to perfection. The wine selection was good and we chose to go for a lovely bottle of merlot. Highly reccomend! We booked for 8pm and where welcomed with a great bunch of staff. Thank you. We will return 100%
