Went yesterday, Monday evening. A very quiet and relaxed atmosphere, apart from an angry vegan who had ordered a meat pizza 😀 Nice waitress who was very attentive. Delicious, fresh, homemade pizza and very reasonably priced. Also a good list of drinks to accompany that they don't charge extortionate prices for like many places these days. Great decor and (mostly 😉) relaxing atmosphere. Will definitely be returning.
My partner and I had a lovely meal here recently and were saying we should come back more often. But.... There was a service charge on the bill of £4.71 which wasn't disclosed before our meal. My partner asked the server to take it off (we wanted to tip in cash) and immediately the servers face turned sour and asked 'what is the reason? Are you not happy with the service?' My partner had to explain herself which was embarrassing and the server mumbled something and stormed off to remove the charge. We eat out a lot and were quite shocked at her attitude and this has put us off returning and ruined a nice evening. Shame.
Really nice pizzas with fresh ingredients. We also had the meatball starter which I’d recommend. I wouldn’t recommend the truffle fries they weren’t great. Definitely would go again. They were taking a lot of online orders which we didn’t realise so although there were lots of empty seats in the restaurant, service was a little slow due to how busy they were with online orders.
