Was disgusted by the conduct I saw within this store the other week! Over heard a staff member - Kyle talking very brazenly about a previous customer and essentially calling him stupid with out saying it in front of a whole que of people. To not have the decency to even attempt to lower his volume or at least try and seem discreet I thought it was incredibly rude! At any other place of work I would hope a manger would pull you up immediately if that conversation was overheard INFRONT of customers!

Stood waiting none of the staff made any attempt to ask what I needed. One was helping someone which is fair but the other clearly saw me but disappeared to do something else so I just left the store. Commmunicate better if unable to assist or help your customers!

I really like the spirit of CEX — the staff are always kind, helpful and full of good energy. Yesterday I queued for quite a long time with patience, only to find out the item I came for (a female-to-female HDMI adapter) was showing online but wasn’t actually in stock. That was a bit upsetting after the wait. That said, the staff were lovely — they explained things clearly and even suggested other places I could try, which I really appreciated. If it hadn’t been for the long queue and the stock issue, this would definitely have been a five-star visit.
