About
A neighbourhood spot known for its hearty Sunday roasts, this restaurant serves dishes like tender beef, roast potatoes, and Yorkshire puddings, often accompanied by sides such as cauliflower cheese. The menu also features pitta bread served with hummus, Parmesan-covered fingerling potatoes, and dishes incorporating oyster mushrooms. Margaritas are available, and the brunch menu is part of the offering. The open stoves add to the kitchen’s character, and the focus is on generous portions and a varied selection of dishes.
Customer Reviews
Absolutely outstanding Sunday dinner at Firehouse. One of the best roasts I’ve had in Manchester, hands down. The beef was cooked perfectly — beautifully tender, full of flavour and served generously. The Yorkshire pudding was a showstopper: massive, crisp on the outside, light and fluffy inside, and ideal for soaking up that rich, glossy gravy which tied the whole plate together. Roast potatoes were spot on too — golden, fluffy and properly seasoned — with greens cooked just right. Everything on the plate felt well thought out and executed with real care, not rushed or mass-produced. Add in great drinks, a lively but relaxed atmosphere, and friendly, efficient service, and it makes for a brilliant Sunday experience.
Lovely place, really nice vibe. Something a bit different. Lovely open stoves. Roast was delicious. We ordered a side of cauliflower cheese for the table too and it came out a good tens minutes after everything else. I had chicken (loved it) , everyone else had beef and raved about it. Most importantly, it is dog friendly!
This place is amazing. Great value for money. Food is really great and our server Jess made the evening. She is so lovely. Came as part of a hen do and she made the experience so good.
