I work away during the week, often in Manchester, and I can find dining alone frustrating sometimes.... But not here! A terrifically friendly welcome. Super service. Fabulous food. I had actually thought the restaurant a little pricey so hadn't tried it before but I changed my mind when the food arrived. Good portion size which, in my opinion, is commensurate with the price. I would definitely recommend dinner at The Counter House.
We were traveling up from London and saw a recommendation for this place. One of the best Sunday roast experiences I’ve ever had! Service was attentive, the atmosphere was great and food was incredible.
My friend and I popped our heads in, hoping they would be open still. They had just re-opened for a lovely couple and welcomed us in. We legitimately had the best time, everyone was so incredibly lovely and funny. Holly, our waitress, was the best vibes ever. Wine and food all delicious, thank you everyone!!!!
