This is not a high end hotel nor does it claim to be. What it is is a place to sleep, with private room and bathroom, it's own public bar and very close to local services, all for a price less than half that of traditional budget hotels. If you're looking for glamour don't stay here but if you're used to making the best of clean comfortable surroundings with no frills and working to a budget, this is for you. I'll be back whenever I need to.
I had stayed here for three nights last weekend and it wasn't enjoyable this has a bar downstairs where you can really hear upstairs when I came to the room no towels and the guy at the reception asked me if I had checked in the bathroom!?? I was like ‘hey do u think I will ask you if I found one!!’ It's just a single room but I can smell the smoke (cigarettes) from outside and kids are running and shouting like ***!! It's cheap deserved what you paid but it's not clean even the bed sheet is brownish already. I'm just being honest 🙄
I went for meet with sister . I booked a room with roadhouse. Which was very bad experience. Room is not good at all . That day was so cold. They did not turn on the heat. I asked them, they said , it’s on after 2 hours later. I slept totally cold room . I my 3 years uk life I never sleep like this . Very bad rest house in Carlisle.
