This was the first pub stop-off on the Winter Droving and we only meant to stop for a quick pint. However the beer prices were ridiculously cheap, the punters were very friendly and the atmosphere on the day was crackin' so we stayed for a couple of hours and had a great time. The staff were friendly too, including one who had a fake knife stuck through his head:) Will certainly come here again.

Stopped in for a drink during a weekend stay nearby. Was warmly greeted by staff and served straight away. Good value drinks. Overall seemed like a nice pub.
