Customer Reviews
My wife and I stayed at The Glendale after completing the 80 mile Dales Way, so we arrived pretty tired. We were warmly welcomed on arrival and directed to our top floor room which was neat and tidy an which had everything we needed. It was a very good stay and we will likely stay again if in the area,
I really liked the guest house, original (or felt like) features with nice clean rooms. Bathroom was modern (shower only in my room). Didn't manage to get down for breakfast, but they did manage to loan me a phone charger as I'd forgotten mine. Would definitely stay again.
This was genuinely one of the nicest experiences I've had staying in a guest house. Ann looked after me from the moment I walked in the door to the moment I left. Fantastic hospitality that really put me at ease. Excellent value for money also. I only stayed one night, but had a comfortable sleep and an excellent breakfast in the morning. Will definitely make this the place to stay whenever in Penrith.
