We chose to stay at Badgers Wood as it was recommended to us by a family friend, and are very glad we did.|The hosts, Andrew and Anne, were incredibly welcoming and helpful. Their local knowledge, and passion for the area, were invaluable in helping us plan our walking holiday. Plus, they made sure we took safe fell-walking routes on the rainy days.|The room was lovely, cosy, and spotless. The coffee/tea facilities provided (for free) were topped up every day. The bed was comfy, and the shower was hot and powerful.|Overall, Badgers Wood was a fantastic stay, and great value for money too.
Badger's Wood is a fabulous B&B, one of the best we've stayed in! Anne and Andrew are excellent hosts, we were made to feel very welcome but also given our privacy. The room and ensuite were spotless and breakfast was great. The location is just perfect for exploring Keswick and having a parking space is a huge bonus. Thank you for a lovely stay!
Second consecutive year here. Brought our daughter with us this time and she had a single room. (Birch).|We stayed in Aspen same as the previous year.|Welcomed on arrival at 1pm by Andrew and shown to the car park across the road. |Even though we knew the rooms wouldn't be ready it was no problem to park there and go for a walk around town which is just 2 minutes walk to the end of the street.|Checked in after 3pm. Both rooms spotlessly clean with trays for dirty shoes.|Anne and Andrew are great hosts and spent some time talking to both. |Pre ordered breakfast the previous evening (which you can amend for the next day if you fancy a change). It was served hot and very nicely presented.|I highly recommend this B&B guest house.|Great hosts, town centre location and a wonderful breakfast.|10/10.|David and Lorraine from Doncaster.
