About
A town centre hotel with comfortable rooms and a bistro serving meals including Sunday lunch. The bistro has a menu with dishes that arrive hot, and there’s mention of themed events like tribute band performances. The hotel has a car park and is within walking distance of the train station. Management and staff are noted for being welcoming. Some guests have booked stays through third-party agents, though rooms are also available directly. The bistro occasionally hosts gatherings such as Christmas parties.
Customer Reviews
I went to the restaurant in the Washington Central Hotel for a dinner with my colleagues. The waiters were very welcoming and the service was great. The food arrived hot and was delicious. We all had a great time and we will definitely be back.
Joined a friend for her Christmas party, a very nice 2 course meal followed by an abba tribute band who were very well turned out in amazing outfits, I was a bit sceptical at first and thought seen one you've seen them all, but this was fantastic sounded amazing even at the back of the room where we danced most of the night it was great and the blonde singer was spot on moves accent and voice just fab. Will definitely look them up and see them again. Great night from start to finish.
I’ve just had a lovely meal with my elderly folks at the Bistro, Washington Central Hotel. Emma, the owner, and Pete at the Bistro were wonderful- so friendly and chatty. Pete couldn’t do enough to make us feel welcome. The salmon and prawn tagliatelle in a beautiful creamy sauce was fabulous and my Dad loved his vegetable soup. The ambience was perfect and it’s all set up for disabled diners with easy entry to the hotel, parking outside the hotel, and lift, and I believe a disabled toilet, as it wasn’t needed. The indoor swimming pool and cafe look fabulous too. We will definitely be back. Thanks to Emma and Pete!
