A sheltered stretch of beach within Whitehaven’s harbour, Golden Sands is a spot for walking along the shoreline or paddling in the water during warmer months. The beach is also known for hosting charity swims, including an annual New Year’s Eve event. Pedestrian access is open, making it an easy stop for a seaside stroll.

It's lovely walking on this stretch of beach. I love whitehaven. I need to visit more often.

Great place for paddling in summer or a freezing swim on New Year's Eve.....all for charity of course !!
