Having had several poor experiences chatting on the out sourced telephone platform I decided to go in person to resolve a very serious issue: my Sky account had been hacked via my email so I couldn’t even access info on the phone app. Scammers had got into my account and ordered an iPad! Pretty dire and the telephone sales assistants were miserably below par. Humar (apologies if the spelling isn’t correct) sorted it out. She was polite, professional and knowledgeable. It was resolved but yet again when she phoned through to customer services the sales assistant was defensive with both of us, and not very respectful. Difficult situation even for staff working at Sky! The point of this review is twofold: telephone call centre is in India - accents are difficult to understand and I’m tuned into accents from other nationalities having worked in the Middle East, Mongolia, Brunei and France. Secondly, if you need an issue resolving it’s much better in store, face to face. Humar really helped to relieve my anxiety.
