What a warm, welcoming, wonderful place to be! Passionate people (who remember, what you ordered the other day ;-) ), fabulous, fresh food and, most importantly: Genuine draught beer for all tastes. Trailblazer Stout was my fave. Definitely, not maybe worth a visit. Or two. Or three.
A well deserved new entry into the 2026 Good Beer Guide judging from the quality of the Holts Bitter I’ve just had.
I organised a party at the old monkey function room and had a great time. There was a great choice of buffet options and the food arrived on time and felt professional. The function room was clean and well kept and most importantly the manager Kyle and bar staff were accommodating, easy and friendly. 100% would recommend and looking forward to next year 💖
