About
This basement spot serves vegan Indian street food in small plates, with dishes like okra fries, chana saag and a vad patty burger. The menu leans into bold flavours, with a range of vegetarian and vegan options. There’s a bar with craft beers, including IPAs, and regular lunch deals. The space can get busy.
Customer Reviews
The restaurant is located in the basement and serves fully vegan food. I can’t say it’s bad, but it didn’t really impress me either. I’m a big fan of traditional South Asian food, especially meat dishes, so this place wasn’t quite to my taste. That said, the fried okra was excellent, and the rest of the food was decent overall. My vegan friends absolutely loved it, and I can see why …it’s a great spot for vegans. For me personally, though, it wasn’t somewhere I’d be excited to revisit.
Cool place for some Indian fare in central Manchester. The staff is very welcoming but the place can get pretty busy. The menu is broad enough to have a wide range of choices and the quality and flavour of the food is good but lacks a little bit of character for me to call it best. Portion sizes are average as is the value.
The staff was kind and friendly, the atmosphere was nice even in the middle of the afternoon and the food was stellar, bold but harmoniouss flavours. The only suggestion I have is to have the menu at the bar (you have to order there) so the guests dont have to take the menu with them to order
