Customer Reviews
I am staying here with my family as emergency accommodation. It’s a post to really reassure people who are being placed here with children to not worry. While yes you are mixed with different kinds of people, the staff are very secure. They look after you and sort any immediate issues out. They always ask if me and my family are ok and if we need anything. Any issues (which haven’t beeen a lot what so ever) are dealt with immediately the staff really couldn’t be more helpful. Personally, while it of course did take some adjusting to settle here, it really is one of the better emergency accommodations around Trafford. The only thing that lowers my score is the other type of people but that really isn’t the staff or hotels fault. Couldn’t fault staff. The managers mother is also a lovely lady who always pays attention to my children which makes them feel comfortable. Lovely people who have made my time here as nice as can be. Thank you.
Reading the reviews I was worried I might have made a mistake, but I think it’s all been a bit overblown. Yes, the furnishings are tired and the place could use some TLC, but the room was clean, comfy, and mostly quiet, the man on reception was very helpful, and overall it is a perfectly good place to spend a night for the price. If your looking for somewhere for a holiday or a romantic weekend away in manchester, this may not be for you, but if you just need a place to sleep for a night without breaking the bank, it’s perfectly fine.
Currently living here temporarily as it appears its now less of a hotel and more of a emergency housing for the council. So i really cant complain. But can be honest about the place now. We have been here a week and seen one member of staff. We arrived and were told our room but not given any other information like house rules for example. The room was generally clean and spacious although bathroom could of done with a huge clean. I turned the shower on jet setting which was still weak and loads of the dirt and grime came off easily, a light scrub and i got the rest off. Cleaned out the shower drain myself aswell the same way. Since we arrived the sliding glass shower door has been hanging on by one wheel. We were told breakfast and food was only for staff. Although we haven’t seen any other staff. But there is a kettle in the room and toaster snd microwave we can use downstairs. The stairs are so steep and very difficult to carry a 5 month old baby up and down, while also being 3 months pregnant and having a room on the top floor. Obviously some things could be better but overall the rest of our room and the hotel are clean and tidy. We do really like our room but the stairs are killing my hips
