Room 102. Very easy to check in. ||There are three heaters - one for each room being the kitchen, bedroom, and passage way - and only the passage way heater worked. It's October so I made do with the cooler temperature in the bedroom only because I happened to have brought heavy clothing with me bearing in mind that I'm currently sick. The wifi did not work until the last few hours of the stay. No hand wash in the kitchen, only extremely watered down dish washing liquid? I understand you want to make profit but really? That was shocking. Very limited sugar sachets in the kitchen. But they had ample coffee sachets and tea bags. A few milk sachets too which is good. Everything was clean. But the heating was poor. Not acceptable for winter months at all. Especially for the £140/£150 mark... with an additional £99 damage deposit on top! ||Final night... fireworks. For two. Hours. It's happening right now as I type this... it has successfully been 2hours and 17 minutes of non stop fireworks just 20 or so metres away... I wish I was joking. Otherwise, it was a genuinely nice stay. It has everything you need from ironing board, iron, every kitchen utensil, fridge, freezer... it's a steal if you don't mind these other small things if you're picky like me. I didn't mind it but I did see one silverfish in the mop/ironing board storage closet. It was a very clean and sleek apartment. Small fixes and it's easily a 4 star.

We booked this accommodation for 4 people, but what we walked into was horrendous. ||For starters, there was no door on the bedroom, leaving us with zero privacy. When we tried to contact the host after checking in on Friday, we received no response for hours. When we finally got through, we were told it was a 1-bedroom apartment — which we understood — but then why allow bookings for 4 people?||Even worse, the broken bedroom door was found outside the apartment, snapped in half. You can clearly see hinges in the photos, so it’s obvious there was a door at some point. We had to buy an airbed and prop up a collapsible bed to create some kind of barrier. We even had to strip a bedsheet off the duvet to use as a curtain for privacy, which when doing so found the duvet had an unknown substance on it, hidden under the clean cover — clearly not properly cleaned or replaced.||The air conditioning didn’t work during the hottest weekend of the year, making the stay unbearable - it’s a good job we decided to take our own fans. ||The front door handle was hanging off, which made us feel unsafe as the door to the apartment was straight onto the street, which the area isn’t the best anyway. ||We’ve had no response to our messages via Booking.com or from Pillo directly. Honestly, they should be embarrassed to let anyone stay here or have their name associated with this property. I struggle to understand how they think it’s acceptable to let anyone stay somewhere like this. Do not book this place.

If the filthy outside of the building is anything to go by, The standards on the inside are probably not very good either. If it wasn't for the kindness of local volunteer litter pickers, this area would be constantly in a mess. One to avoid if cleanliness is important to you!
