Customer Reviews
I had a fantastic stay at the Ainscow Hotel and couldn’t be happier with the experience. The hotel itself is clean, comfortable, and perfectly located, making it a great base for exploring the area. What really made the stay exceptional, though, was the staff. Nick and Ethan on the night team and Brianna on the day team were absolutely amazing, friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect and made me feel truly welcome. Their customer service alone is a reason to stay here again. I highly recommend the Ainscow Hotel and will definitely be back!
I booked a room online and was given the option of either “no window” or “standard.” I chose standard specifically to ensure I had a window. On arrival, I was allocated a room with no window. When I called reception, I was told my booking was not explicitly for a room “with a window,” despite that not being an option at the time of booking. I went to reception with my booking confirmation, which clearly showed I had booked something different from what was recorded in their system. I was then advised that there were heating issues in the available rooms and that they didn’t recommend moving me as those rooms were freezing.||After returning to the room, I realised I had been allocated an accessible room. While this is excellent for guests with accessibility needs, it was not suitable for me. The sink was so low that I had to squat to brush my teeth and making washing my face very uncomfortable. The bathroom mirror was also fixed too low, preventing me from being able to do my makeup (I am 5’4). The shower temperature fluctuated randomly, and while lying in bed in the morning I could clearly hear at least three other guests showering and flushing their toilets.||Although the room was generally clean, there were several areas in the bathroom that needed a proper scrub. Overall, the finishing touches did not meet my expectations of a 4-star hotel. The bedroom mirror was literally secured with nails. There were no glasses provided in either the room or the bathroom. There were also visible signs of dirt on the bathroom rails.||I had brought a charging cable but no wall plug, as I expected there to be a USB port. There wasn’t one. With my phone battery dying, I tried to turn on the TV, but that didn’t work either.||The only positive aspect of the stay was that the bed was comfortable.
Our stay was great! Rooms comfortable and spacious! As well as excellent service from a man called rick at the front desk. He was great help when we had any problems & even upgraded us because of problems with our key! He was also lovely to talk too & helpful with any questions about manchester! Location is great, lots of shops & restaurants only a ten minute walk. Would stay again! Great Overall.
