Large and accessible car park very close to university and hotels. Large spaces and plenty of spaces. Have to pay when entering but have the option of using the machine or paying with the Ringo app. If staying at Holiday Inn you can get a discount here on parking. Holiday inn advertises the daily rate at £8.50, but it's actually £9.50. Must remember to enter your licence plate also at the check-in desk of holiday inn to confirm your stay and discount.
Fraud, definitely avoid if possible. Issued me a £100 ticket when I've already paid my parking by phone. Appealed it online, they said they issue the ticket based on my entry and exit time which start from the second I entered the car park. Well it took me 10 mins to find the parking spot, park up, tidy, find the car parking app, entered all the detail before I paid the parking, and they're issuing a PCN because of this. It's shameful and disgusting. Never going to use this car park ever again. A company with this filthy money tactic should be banned. For those who want to use this car park, make sure you paid your parking well before you entered the car park, otherwise £100 PCN straight to your house.
I would strongly advise people not to park in this car park, although it's cheap, there is no cctv and frequent break ins and just isn't worth the hassle, sat nav stolen off of the dashboard.
